2012 Community Service Award Winner - Fannie Duvall

Those attending to share in the honor were her son, Tom; her daughter, Connie; grandson, Dr. Wesley Thompson and his wife Laschell; her brother, Jim Meritt and wife Dot; her brother, Darrell Meritt and wife Nancy.Fannie Duvall, a longtime volunteer at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and Way-Fair Restorium in Fairfield, was named the 2012 Community Service Award Winner during the annual Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Dinner. A native of White County, the former Fannie Meritt worked many years as a nurse's aid at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in the Obstetrics Department.
