FMH Donates AED’s to Oblong Children’s Christian Home in Fairfield

Fairfield Memorial Hospital believes it is our mission to help improve the lives of those we serve and what better way to help than by providing life-saving equipment where it is needed. Recently, FMH donated an AED to the Oblong Children’s Christian Home in Fairfield, Illinois.  The Oblong Christian Home is a ministry of Christian Churches and Churches of Christ housing abused and troubled children who are 5 to 17 years old, providing them with a family-style group home. AED’s make it possible for more people to respond to a medical emergency where defibrillation is required.

“Fairfield Memorial Hospital donated an AED to the Oblong Children’s Christian Home in Fairfield to provide the group home with a sense of safety in case of an emergency.  We want our community to feel safe and if we can provide these tools to be utilized then we will deliver where it is necessary.” commented FMH CEO, Katherine Bunting.
