FMH STILL OFFERING FREE MAMMOGRAMS THROUGH COMMUNITY PINK RIBBON GRANT
Fairfield Memorial Hospital was awarded a Community Pink Ribbon Grant last year that was to be used to purchase breast health educational materials and provide 40 women with free mammograms. There are still several mammograms available for those in need. Over the past several years, Fairfield Memorial Hospital has been the recipient of grant funds to assist those women in the area who cannot afford a mammogram.
To qualify for a free mammogram, you must:
• Be a female between the ages of 40 and 64
• Not have had a mammogram for at least 1 year
• Be uninsured or have a high deductable
• Meet financial guidelines
• Live or work in Wayne, White or Edwards County
• Be unable to pay privately for a mammogram
If you think you qualify, please call Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department at 618-847-8249. This program is made possible by the Greater Evansville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
