FMH Welcomes Behavioral Health Counselor to Horizon Healthcare: Nicole Uhlmann, LCSW

Fairfield Memorial Hospital continues to attract the most talented set of professionals and is growing in multiple areas in order to meet the changing needs of patients in the communities they serve.  Horizon Healthcare is proud to announce that Nicole Uhlmann, LCSW, Behavioral Health Counselor, as the newest provider at Horizon Healthcare. Ms. Uhlmann comes to Horizon Healthcare with experience working with a variety of populations including children, teens, adult, and the elderly, along with working in case management, clinical counseling and in leadership roles.  She has an extensive amount of experience with chemical dependency, along with group treatments that will be helpful when working with those who need family counseling.

It is rewarding to see them progress from session to session and find success,” stated Nicole Uhlmann, LCSW.  
 
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Counseling Program provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families, including children, teens, and adults.  Those dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, family conflict, medical illness, and behavioral difficulties could benefit from the program, as well as those with a more severe mental health diagnosis.  A variety of interventions and coping skills are offered based upon individual treatment planning and agreed upon by the patient and the healthcare team. 
 
Ms. Uhlmann received her Masters of Social Work from Southern Illinois University in May of 2013.  She gained her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in October 2015.  She has experience working in both hospital and other healthcare settings as a Social Worker and a Therapist.
