Fairfield Memorial Hospital Implements Additional Visitor Restrictions as a Precautionary Measure
Fairfield Memorial Hospital is implementing additional visitor restrictions as a precautionary measure as part of it’s ongoing efforts to protect the health of our community and staff.
Until further notice, patients coming into our facility are limited to only one visitor with them at all times. Visitors will be screened upon entry into our facility in an attempt to help ensure that they are not sick before being allowed to go to departments throughout our organization. Visitors may be asked to wear a mask or to wait outside in their vehicle depending on the results of the screening. Whenever possible patients should come to our facilities by themselves to help limit the risk of exposure to themselves and other patients in the organization, as well as, our staff. Anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from coming into our facility unless they are the patient being seen that day.
We appreciate the community’s support and understanding as we take these precautionary measures for the health and well-being for everyone. We will continue to keep the public informed as we receive new information and/or as this time of crisis resolves and we are able to return to normal operations.
