FAIRFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL MAKING CHANGES TO VISITATION POLICY
Effective April 4, 2022, visitors entering Fairfield Memorial Hospital and its clinics will no longer be required to screen upon entering any of its locations with the exception of the Skilled Care Unit, where it is still required by IDPH.
Temperature kiosks and respiratory etiquette stations are available at the Main entrances to the Hospital and the Medical Arts Complex for self-screening.
We ask that visitors wear a mask if they have any respiratory symptoms, including COVID-19 or influenza, for the protection of our staff, patients, and visitors unless otherwise indicated by IDPH for Skilled Care Unit.
There will be no restrictions on visitors unless a patient is in any type of isolation or in a critical situation. If a patient is in isolation, visitors will have to check in with the Charge Nurse for that area to determine if you will be allowed to enter the patient’s room. For Skilled Care Unit visitation policies, please call 618-847-8335.
Cafeteria and Gift Shops are fully opened with no restrictions.
The RISC tent has been taken down and patients are now able to go directly to the Urgent Care. You can also call the Urgent Care at 618-847-8344 and request a curbside visit due to respiratory symptoms.
All of these changes are subject to change if we were to experience a COVID-19 surge or as governmental regulations change.
