FMH EXPANSION PROGRESS
Fairfield Memorial Hospital weekly updates are used to keep the public informed as progress continues to be made on our Expansion Project. As the weather brings some snow and ice to our area we aren’t seeing as much work on the outside, however, the work continues inside the expansion.
During the week of February 15th, work this week has been limited due to the inclement weather. All work this week has been inside the expansion with limited crews working on metal studs and drywall on primarily the 1st and 2nd floors, as well as, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and electrical work throughout the building.
During the week of February 22nd, with the warmer forecast and less snow we can expect to start the masonry work back up, as well as, the exterior studs and sheathing on the outside of the building. The work inside will continue with metal stud framing, drywall, along with the mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and electrical work on 1st and 2nd floors. Contractors will also be hanging drywall at the partitions on 3rd floor.
Fairfield Memorial Hospital appreciates all of the support and interest that has been received from our community for this project and hopes that everyone is staying warm and safe during the inclement weather we are experiencing in our region.
