HOURS: 10 Onsite Shifts Monthly (10 hour onsite shifts <7a-5p>) Rotating Weekends
and Holidays Rotating On-Call Hours (5p-7a)
SALARY RANGE: $118,000-$161,000

NATURE OF WORK:
Healthcare provider desired to meet needs of inpatients, swing-bed and skilled care residents in a critical access hospital setting. Acting within scope of license and collaboration of MD- Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner admits and discharges patients in an inpatient setting. Nurse Practitioner performs a complete physical exam, obtains medical history, and orders appropriate medications, laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Interprets test and examination results. Maintain and review patients’ records, charts and other pertinent information. Assesses and interprets data to determine appropriate treatment plan. Instructs patient and family regarding disease process, plan of care, medications and treatments. Applies and modifies the principles, methods, and techniques of medicine/nursing to provide ongoing patient care. Effectively communicates and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Recognizes deviations from normal health. Formulates and records appropriate treatment plan, following any established standards or protocols. Utilizes skills in critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. Accurate and timely documentation to patient’s chart is performed in Electronic Health Record.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification within field as applicable to Nurse Practitioner Licensure: Licensed in State of Illinois.
EXPERIENCE:
Hospitalist Experience Preferred. Full Practice Authority Licensure or Willingness to Obtain Preferred. 5 Years experience as Nurse Practitioner Preferred.
SKILLS:
Experience with electronic medical record charting. Excellent clinical, decision-making, and communication skills. Quality and service-oriented, and ability to work effectively in stressful situations. Basic keyboarding and computer skills.

SALARY RANGE: $62,400 - $93,600

NATURE OF WORK: The Director of Revenue Cycle is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational and financial activities for Revenue Cycle, including provider enrollment, patient access, charge master, coding, health information management, billing of claims, payments, credit balance, collections of third-party payers, and self-pay management. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Fairfield Memorial and Horizon. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position’s major responsibility is directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, fiscal management, and human resource management. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities of the Revenue Cycle across the enterprise.
The Director of Revenue Cycle serves as the operational leader for Revenue Cycle and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director of Revenue Cycle supports enterprise-wide projects and initiatives that relate to Fairfield Memorial and Horizon priorities, health care legislation and compliance, systems redesign, improve revenue, and/or reduced cost. This position also assesses personnel and fiscal implications of organizational changes; assists staff in the implementation of changes; monitors and analyzes the impact of change.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- A master’s degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Four years of managerial experience in revenue cycle management with a hospital or closely related field.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of patient accounting principles.
- Knowledge of medical
- Proficiency with healthcare billing and coding process.
- Extensive knowledge of all third-party payer requirements, human resources and regulatory and collection laws.
- Knowledge of Healthcare regulations.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques used in negotiation as applied to service contracts and equipment purchasing.
