POSITION TITLE: Patient Access Specialist Registration
DEPARTMENT: Business Office
STATUS: Full Time, Non-Exempt
HOURS: 2nd Shift, 1:30pm – 10pm, Rotating Weekends
SALARY RANGE: $16.50 - $21.00

NATURE OF WORK:
Under the general direction of the director of Business Office, arranges the admission of inpatients, registration of outpatients and emergency room visits, obtains patient and guarantor information for data collection, operates switchboard, performs cashier functions, and receives, screens and gives direction to patients and other visitors.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
SKILLS:
Team player willing to assist in meeting organizational goals. Excellent keyboarding, communication skills and customer-oriented approach to others. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required.
ADDITIONAL: Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record required. Self-motivated in setting goals for receivables and streamlining processes.
