Surgical Services
Hospitals save lives every day, but in a small, rural community on-call emergency surgical services can mean life or death to a community member involved in a major traumatic accident or other life threatening surgical events. Fairfield Memorial Hospital is fortunate to be part of the approximately 66% of Critical Access Hospitals who still offer on call surgical services. Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s surgical service is not only state of the art, but also staffed by one of the most skilled surgeons, Patrick L. Molt, M.D., FACS, and seasoned operating room nurses. In small, rural communities resources are sometimes limited, but relationships and critical thinking is what matters.
