Current Registered Nursing License in Illinois required.

Education:  Associates Degree Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience:  Preferred 2 years of experience.

Nature of Work: 

• Provides professional nursing care within our Medical Surgical Unit
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. 
• Determines priorities of care based on physical and psycho social needs of patients. 
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. 
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. 
• Strives to improve team effectiveness, system processes and patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
