ED RN - PRN
Department: FMH - Emergency Dept
Minimum Requirements:
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois, current BLS certification required.
- Must have or obtain ACLS within 3 months of hire,
- PALS within 6 months of hire,
- TNCC and ECRN must be obtained within one year of hire.

Nature of Work:
- Provides professional nursing care within the ED
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
- Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
- Communicates with physicians regarding changes in the patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
