Minimum Requirements:

Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.

• Current BLS certification required.
• Must obtain ACLS within 3 months of hire and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC and ECRN must be obtained within one year of hire.

Job Duties:

Nature of Work: 

• Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Determines priorities of care based on physical and  psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in the patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Full-time Day Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
