Services Offered
Insomnia
A sleep disorder defined as the perception or complaint of not enough or poor-quality sleep.
Sleep Apnea
A common, potentially life-threatening sleep disorder that most commonly occurs when a person's airway collapses or becomes blocked (this is called obstructive sleep apnea). People with sleep apnea experience pauses in their breathing or shallow breathing while they are asleep.
Snoring
Occurs when the soft tissue surrounding the upper airway vibrates as you breathe. It is quite common — about half of all adults snore occasionally. Men snore more than women, and people who are overweight are also more prone to snoring. While snoring can disrupt your bed partner's sleep, it can also cause frequent awakenings at night and daytime sleepiness for the person who snores.
Home Sleep Testing (Outpatient Testing)
A noninvasive, pain-free test that you do at home, in your own bed. A small medical device is worn during sleep for one night. It records breathing patterns, oxygen levels and heart rate.
